What is the Communication on Engagement (CoE)?

The Communication on Engagement (COE) is a public disclosure through which participants inform stakeholders about their efforts to support the principles of the Global Compact and about their engagement in the initiative.

CoE Minimum Requirements

1. A statement by the chief executive or equivalent expressing continued support for the UN Global Compact and renewing the participant’s ongoing commitment to the initiative.

2. A description of the practical actions that the organization has taken to support the UN Global Compact principles and to engage with the initiative.

3. Measurement of outcomes, according to the execution of the actions supporting UN Global Compact and the Sustainable and Development Goals (SDGs).

3. Sharing your progress on the Ten Principles with stakeholders, showcases your Support to UN Global Compact.
